Have you tried putting a greater than sign in betwen your process and your .txt file? This should do what you want.

Subject: [access-uk] Piping output from Vista command line to a text file?

Hi,

Wondering if maybe some of you command line gurus could help me out with
this one 'smile'. I used to know the command in cygwin, but it's lost in
the mists of time, hehe.

I'm running a process in the Windows Vista command line window that's
putting out a large output that's disappearing off the screen. I can of
course scroll back but this is a nuisance with the screen reader. It would
be great if I could somehow pipe all the output from the start of the
session (before I run the command) to a text file to review later. Can this
be done?

If not with the standard Windows command prompt (which I think but am not
sure runs partly off the old DOS system?) I do have cygwin installed but
would that run standard Windows exe processes and batch files?

Thanks much for any help.
