Hallo, Clive
I think that you can get your old Perkins Braille repaired at the RNC in
Hereford.
About eighteen months ago, it was a recondition one, and only cost me about
£250. so far it has been very good.

Hello everyone,
Well, after almost 51 years of trouble-free service, my trusty Perkins
brailler has developed some faults which necessitate cleaning and repair. My
perents bought it for me in 1967. As I use it almost every day I decided to
purchase one of the latest models from RNIB. It arrived yesterday, and, of
course, it is now sold without the sturdy carrying case. Once my old machine
is repaired I wish to donate it to the kent Association for the blind so it
can go to a good home. As there is nothing wrong with the case I wish to
keep it for my new machine.
Can you please give me details of where I can have my old machine repaired
and can you still get the carrying case? Any help most appreciated. Thanks
in advance.
Best wishes,
