[access-uk] Re: Penfriend and PTX1

My box arrived with a broken lid, the battery cover was off and the
batteries rolling around, and the braille telling me about the incorrect
jack plug fittings had errors in it. apart from that, the packaging was
great.

But the penfriend does work and my main use will be labelling for items in
my freezer, and it has already proved to be excellent for that purpose.

Has anyone managed to get anything out of mode 2 in the mode settings?

John,

Thanks for your informative and encouraging post.

I won't comment on all right now (I've probably said far too much this
weekend already) but would just like to agree with you that, really, the box
for the Penfriend probably is a little too large and could have been smaller
and neater!

Thanks for all you're doing and also for not accepting just how different we
all are and how much we want to do our "individual" thing when it comes to
labelling.
