Carol

Just checked and you are right. Each time you touch a new label the volume
reverts to highest, which is very high. You can alter volume while playing but
not between, which to me seems ridiculous.

  Barbara,

Can you alter the volume on yours when you are not playing a label message?
So, you've looked at your label and it's stoppped speaking and you decide that
volume was rather high. You press the down button a few times and play again
... Has the volume changed? Or do you have to alter the volume while a
message is playing? If that message is a very short one, that could (I
suppose) be why the volume doesn't appear to alter at that stage for me.

I am just so hoping I won't have to send it back after all, but I haven't got
my volume working at all.
