Barbara, I could not work out how to access the RNIB info either. I did find the info on the labels attached to the inside of the box. My first impressions are quite favourable. And for all those who say we are always criticising poor old RNIB, I have to say I am very pleased with them and this product. Being able to download instructions is good and they are well worded. Less than 5 mins out of the box and I was up and going. I can see what others have said about the volume, but that is a minor thing and sorted with a few key presses. I don't understand the mode which lets you read pre-recorded RNIB info, but maybe that is something yet to be properly set up. I would have liked the ability to recharge the batteries by USB, but hey we can't have everything. A friend was joking to me the other day that we will all be so newly fangled that everything in the house which didn't move would be labelled for the first few days. We even joked us blindies could label each other so we know who's in the room. Interesting and might stop you talking about someone who is sat next to you! So I am pleased, well done RNIB. A product which performs a useful function, is easy to use and not at all costly.
