Hi John,
Once the watch has touched the terminal, the transaction is made. If the
retailer hasn't processed the transaction, Google Pay certainly won't let
you transact a duplicate within a certain amount of seconds.
All the best

hi steve i must say that's good but how do you manage with all the noise for
me it's great if we have the options not just one. but i must say it's good
you can do all this stuff. again carrying my piano tuning bag with the dog
on the left hand i would have to watch my battery packs my three iphones 4
watches and the like smile but i can see how fast it is just to walk on the
bus and put the watch over the terminal what happens if you have had five
pints and the bus jerks and the watch goes over the terminal three times.

touchscreen.
Hi,
Easier on the bus too. Our bus passes only work in Hertfordshire at
peak times, so I have to pay sometimes, and cash is remarkably
annoying to manipulate when your hands are full. My watch on the
other hand, I just touch a terminal with it.

I found using my contactless card for tubes really useful, rather than
have to seek out the kiosk in unfamiliar stations and then have to queue.

Hi,
I quite often use a card for a drink in the pub, but that's usually
because a round is not cheap nowadays <Smile>.

I must say I do like to have some cash on me. Some cab drivers don't
take cards and who wants to use a card for a drink in a pub?

Hi Jackie,
What an old-fashioned notion, cash. <Big Smile>.
Seriously, I can't wait to get rid of cash, it's the least secure
method of carrying money.
I carry less and less of it about nowadays, I love Android Pay.

Iain,
That is correct, the speech is silenced, audible clicks are still
there and the screen curtain provides privacy.

That turns speech off but leaves VoiceOver still running. The screen

Not practical
For example, on older touch screen devices, you could use ordinary
headphones.
On more recent ones, they have a bespoke connector

Hi,
Would it be an idea to keep a set of earphones handy and ensure the
screen curtain is on when entering details?

This is an issue I came across some time ago in a local take out. I
told them the problems, and gave them advice. we came to an
arrangement about payment with an app the shop used, they refunded
me the standing charge for the app if I used that to place order, as
the app
issue to warrant it.
