OK, Jim, you need to go into Tools, Options and the final tab and there's a button in there that shows you where your files are stored. You'll need to highlight that path, then do a "Run" command and so be taken to the folder. There you should find what you want.

If these instructions aren't clear enough, I may be able to help you in the next few days, if anyone else doesn't get there first. Come back if you need.

Barry,

That didn't work. It just made a bell noise. It wasn't in
the "in box messages", but i did a go to folder "ctrl
plus i" and tried it from there, no luck doing it that
way or in the message area itself, it just brings up the
property sheet for the message the focus is on.
Any idea where i'm going wrong?

Jim

Hi Jim

With the focus on the in box, not the messages, hit alt
enter then tab once
and that will tell you where the file is.

Cheers

Barry

Hi list,

Can someone tell me how to get to my "in.dbx" file in
outlook express so I can delete it to get a new in box.
I had the instructions but I've lost it somewhere and
can't find it. Thanks for your help.
Jim.
