Hi John.
I am using the sky Q app and although I do find some rather annoying issues, I
can look at TV guide as before so know what is coming up but I do find the
record button easy to find but difficult to activate using the iPhone.
Also, I had no idea what the Fast Forward button did which seems to have taken
the place of the hamburger butto we had previously.
I stil do not understand, either, why we cannot delete programmes from the
planner using this app when those using Android can do so.

Hello list,
It is recognised on this list, and others, that the Sky Q App is not
accessible for VI people using Voice Over.
I have come across a quirk which allows me to actually see what is on now
and next on the Sky channels I watch.
Install the old Sky+ App on the phone.
When you run it then it will gripe that it has detected a Sky Q unit and
that you should use that app. Just press OK to that.
You can then press the TV Guide button and see what is on now and next as
before.
You cannot use the planner so it is still not fully functional.
It is a shame I had not found this months ago.
Sky themselves are not publishing any news on what action they are taking to
fix the accessibility issues. This is dreadful from a company with the vast
resources of Sky.
