Hi Ali -

I use Word 2000, and to do this, I use page numbering from the Insert menu--there is a format button, and under there you will find an edit box to type in the number of the page that you want to start from. So, highlight all of the text in the document from page 3, select page numbering from the insert menu, and click on the format button, and tab to the edit box and type in 1, and hit 2 ok buttons, and you're done, your third page should be numbered as page 1 etc.

Is this what you meant?

Subject: [access-uk] Page numbering in word?

Hi,

I have a very lengthy report that I would like to insert page numbers.
However, I want page numbers starting from page three,, in other words, I
want page three showing and saying page one, page four as page two etc. I
have seen it done in some documents. Does anyone know how I can do the same
numbering please?

I am using office XP and 2003 with jaws 6.0 and 7.0.

Thank you.
