hi Dean, this is so true, but in that case, why disable the ethernet feature in the first place, if it is going to used for connecting to the RNIB's website?,

I'm having a guess that's an alternative to connecting wirelessly to the RNIB library. I don't know anything about whether it can or can't be connected to a computer. I did think when I received the player that they would have enabled the wireless feature for us to start streaming books long ago but things can't have go as planned.

It does have an ethernet port as well.

Hi Billy.

I know the PTX1 will be able to connect to a wireless network, but I never heard it said that it will connect to a pc. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this.
