Thanks, Jackie. What about the sound of the Roberts? We did have the Pure Move so have that with which we could compare. We'd like something with a bit better sound than that, to be honest.

Hi CarolWhile I didn't get the Roberts Play from John Lewis, I can tell you that it does have individual preset buttons you can press to store stations. The disadvantage with individual presets is that the physical layout of buttons limits the number of stations you can store. The Play only has five for each band, but at least they are accessible.If you have seen the Pure Move before, then the Roberts Play is thicker than this, and slightly bigger in size, but certainly not too big to take on holiday, and the sound is pretty reasonable for a radio with a mono speaker.I hope this helps in some way.
