Iain, that worked a treat, so many thanks. I am now able to browse these
newsletters much easier.

Hi Sharon

You might find it helpful to change the reading order in the preferences
dialogue. I have mine set most of the time to “use reading order in raw print
stream”. Press ctrl+k to get into the preferences dialogue and then arrow down
till you get to “reading”. Tab once and you’ll be on the list you want. It’s
the third entry.

I don’t promise it will work but it’s worth a try.

Iain

Subject: [access-uk] PDF Documents

Hi,

I currently receive newsletters and other correspondence by e-mail from my
daughter's school. This is in PDF format, but it appears that there is only
one word per line. If I read using continuous reading this is no problem, but
if I want to browse through this document line by line, which I often do to
pick up dates etc, I find it very hard to do.

Does anyone now a way to make these documents read in a logical way, i.e. line
by line.

I'm using jaws 11 and Adobe 9.

Many thanks.

Sharon
