[access-uk] PCMCIA card for Del laptop

Hi
Recently I bought a 1000 mbit network PCMCIA card for my laptop but I can't get
it fully into the slot. Should I push harder, is there a way to get full access
to the slot or is this not the correct kind of card for this expansion slot in
my Del XPS1210?
Any help gratefully received.
