    Hi All

If anyone has been following my ramblings about a poorly computer, then you
will be glad to know I have somehow fixed some of the problems with no need to
reinstall Windows. At least none of the problems have presented themselves
today and a whole day without any issues is a plus. I searched for the problem
on Google and downloaded a free program. I then had to pay a small charge for
the registration and after running this my shutdown and program not responding
issues seem to have disappeared. It found and fixed 1731 problems on the hard
drive! Before this however I was noticing that my CD/DVD drive had stopped
showing up in My Computer, even with a disc inserted. This started yesterday,
so has nothing to do with this latest download and repair. Anyone any ideas why
this has happened and is there anything I can do about it?
