[access-uk] PARALLEL/CENTRONIX TO USB CABES/CONVERTERS

Hi all,
I want to use my old Brother printer with the laptop and connect it via USB.
I see there are plenty of cables around for sale but does anyone have any
experience that these do/don't work? If you have purchased one recently
which does work then please could you let me know details. Has anyone found
that you need to match cables more carefully, e.g., some that will work with
Brother and not others?
If anyone has one to sell that they're no longer using, or could let me
borrow one to try then please let me know in private email.
