Andrew, The footer adds just a small amount of
bytes to each message, and has actually meant that
a significant number of list members have followed
what is says when they have gone on holiday.
In September, or thereabouts, the holiday bit can
be dropped.

George.

Hi,
T
This was one of the reasons I wanted to get rid of
that footer - people, including me, quote the
entire text.

I really can't believe how much I quote now after
switching to Outlook!

Andrew.
