Or, if you want HTML formatted messages on a one-off basis, then alt-O
for formatting, and H for HTML will put the message in that format.
I've had Outlook on occasion strip out pictures from HTML emails, no
idea why though.

The first tab has three options
Html, rich text, text only.
Make the choice, and then exit by apply or ok which ever is present -

On behalf of a friend who is using Outlook. He is trying to send an
e-mail
with pictures and text combined. However, when the recipient receives

e-mail only the text is present and no pictures. I suspect he is
sending the
e-mail in plain txt only. In outlook how would he change the setting
to send
in plain txt, to send in HTML? I can't help him because I don't use
Outlook.
