HelloSerious question, not being facetious, how is showing the preview pane a security risk?

There is a setting in OE to mark a message as "read" after a certain time; I hthought, however, this referred only to newsgroup messages.you should be able to see who a message is from and who the name of the sender is spelled etc. by using your screenreader's mouse emulation cursor. Are you showing the preview pane? Aside from being a security risk, this, too, can change the message to a "read" status if you sit on the message for too long.hth Doris At 06:11 PM 11/9/2012 +0000, you wrote:2 questions here.1. Is there any way I can arrow across the name of an unread mail without opening it if I want to check the spelling of the name? 2. I am having a problem with my NC10 in Outlook Express, sometimes just arrowing up or down through the Inbox will change an unread mail to a read one. What might be happening here and how can I rectify this. Finally I am using Supernova 13.0** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
