PLEASURE JIM  it seems to be a characteristic of oe7, at least it only 
started doing it for me after a crash, and subsequent updating of oe from 6 
to 7.

Thanks Harry, thats done the job, but I don't understand why I can move
stuff to some folders and not others. The main thing is you have given me a
way around this.
