Yes I’m saying in office 2007 with jaws you can view other peoples calendars in the way that jaws did not allow you to switch between the panels showing your own calendar and those of other people in office 2003. If you open a calendar other than your own then you have multiple tabs which you can switch between using control tab, each calendar you open opens in a new tab and jaws accurately reads out only items in the calendar you are currently viewing, and correctly identifies the name of each calendar as you move between tabs. Are you saying it makes other people's calendars more accessible? ________________________________ From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Adrian Higginbotham Sent: 19 February 2009 09:30 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Office 2003 versus 2007 There isn’t. it works fine but there is no significant reason to do so. There’s a learning curve in getting used to the new interface but so far the only major difference I’ve found, and as it happens it makes quite a difference to me, but possibly not to most people, and certainly not home users, is the access to other peoples outlook calendars (using exchange). I know some of you are using office 2007, I would like to know what you think of the new version. I am still using office 2003 which I find more than adequate for my needs, but might be interested in upgrading should there be a significant advantage in doing so.
