But what if you want sent messages to go into different folders
depending on who you sent them to?

Hi George,

That's a little different. You have to make rules to do it. With
Outlook 2007, you can specify where you want sent messages to land
without making rules. In fact, when I first made my account, it asked
me where I want to put sent messages. This is better than the rules
rigmarole IMHO.

All the best

Steve

Strange, I've been filtering sent messages to different mail boxes in
Outlook 2003 for quite some time. It just a case of selecting, "After
Message has been sent" and then choosing what you want to do with it.

Hi Adrian,

The other difference I like is that you can tell Outlook where to
place sent messages. You can't change this in 2003.

All the best

Steve

There isn't. it works fine but there is no significant reason to do
so. There's a learning curve in getting used to the new interface but
so far the only major difference I've found, and as it happens it
makes quite a difference to me, but possibly not to most people, and
certainly not home users, is the access to other peoples outlook
calendars (using exchange).

HI \Everyone.

I know some of you are using office 2007, I would like to know what
you think of the new version. I am still using office 2003 which I
find more than adequate for my needs, but might be interested in
upgrading should there be a significant advantage in doing so.

All the best, Ibrahim.
