Thanks Jackie for confirming this, I'll certainly make sure he gets up-to-date if not already. Did Office2003 install in the normal way, or did you have to tweak anything to get it to run under Win7?

Hi Andy

I have Office Professional 2003 on my Windows 7 32 Bit laptop, and it works
fine. I am not aware of any icons that look odd, but then I wouldn't be,
(big smile). I have all the updates installed, so maybe that's why as Tris
says.

Kind Regards,

Firstlyy, am I correctly informed that Office 2003 will work with Windows7?

If so, then a friend has an issue when installing Office2003 proffessional
on his Win7 system. What happens is that all his desk top icons become word
documents, that is, they turn red with a W against them. Anybody advise on
what he need to do in order to get a working installation of this software?

Thanks -

Andy
