Hi Carol, You say you own an older version? From what I've read you can upgrade for free providing it's for the same edition. I'm not sure how you go about it but my podcast does tell you this fact. You can also find this fact from the official website www.totalrecorder.com. I'm sure there's lots of improvements since version 5, including the new driver I talked about. I could go on but I'll let you enjoy it.
