Hi Jim. Open the message as normal. If the file doesn't play automatically (which I don't think it does), press 'Options, and Open Presentation. From here, your phone's player should launch, and you should here the file. Press options again, and Browse to save. I think you'll find its pretty much self-explanatory from here on. You then need to edit the profile you want to set the file as a ring tone for. Note that some of the Phrasings of the above menus might be slightly different, as it's a long time since I've saved a file via SMS. HTH. HI all, Sorry for the off topic posting, but the talks list is too heavy in traffic just to ask one question, that someone on this list may be able to answer. I have a Nokia 6260 flip phone. A friend has sent me a ring tone that I would like to use, but the ring tone is in my in box and I can't find a way of moving it to the folder where the ring tones are stored. Does anyone know how to accomplish this task and move the file to the relevant folder and start to use it as a ring tone? I'm using talks. Thanks in advance for any help. Jim.
