Hi all.

I can give more details if needed.

I'm using a linksys router here. WRT54G model.

Here is an email i've also forward to some tech friends.

I've been fiddling about here on my mums laptop.

I've had it connected to a dial up service and a dsl service so far this
week.

And I can't get online anymore through my cable network at my parents house.

I can connect fine if I connect directly through my cable modem but wifi and
wired on the network notta. Bytes are being sent and received when I look
at both connection interfaces.

I'm not sure if I've screwed up something in windows by just deleting those
dial up and dsl connections I had or what happened.

I've clicked on every restore default etc button I can find in IE, cleared
forms, cookies any caching method I've found.

OE won't send mails on the network. I'm getting a network IP. but I can't
ping anything outside the network.

I've even reset my mums router and still notta.

Removed wifi favourites or prefered networks as they are called.

So any suggestions any of you lot can throw my way would be deeply
appreciated!

Barry
