My understanding is the Trekker Breeze comes with an external Bluetooth
speaker, or at least that it is an optional accessory. You can buy
speakerphones for mobile phones such as those used in cars, in fact I used
to use the Jabra Cruiser models which are still available and have voice
announcements so are fully usable by someone with no sight. They are also
quite loud so perfect for someone who may be hard of hearing not wishing to
use headphones as well as the traditional noisy street environment.

It's not always good, especially in London; it's satnav receiver isn't the
best, and it does have its off days. Some would say it's expensive. I don't
know what the Sendero products are like. Breeze's one advantage is the
external speaker; if you could attach a similar one to a phone product then
it would be very useful to have some comparisons.

Don't know if it has improved, but it takes a long time, and isn't always
accurate enough for my liking.

One concern I have about the breeze is that is seems to take an awful long
time to lock on to a signal! I wonder if this has improved with recent
updates though!

I think I'm likely to purchase one if the demonstration I've arranged
