Hi Jackie,

There is also an app for iOS and Android called RSPB Eguide to Birdsong,
which is excellent too, and gives a thorough description of the bird.

There is also an app called Warblr, which is a great app for identifying
birdsong that you may hear when out and about.  Simply hit record, when you
hear a bird, and it will attempt to identify it.  This too is for both
Android and iOS, and is accessible on both platforms.

All the best

Steve

Apologies for cross-posting, but thought this might interest many of you
who, like me, love birdsong and enjoy identifying what they are.

The RSPB Guide To Birdsong by Adrian Thomas is a book and accompanying
narrated CD.  It is available in Kindle and paperback formats.  I've
purchased both flavours, Kindle for me to read at my leisure, and the
paperback version with accompanying CD to share with family members.  The CD
is narrated so is very helpful to those of us who can't identify a bird by
sight.

Enjoy one of life's richest beauties.

Kind regards,

Jackie Brown
