If you want a simple notetaking laptop, I can heartily recommend the HP stream
range which are priced at around £200 but are often on special offer on Amazon
and in other retailers. These laptops feature Intel Celeron processes which are
power efficient and capable, long battery life up to 10 hours in some cases,
Windows 10 home and also come with a year free of office 365 personal which
includes all the essential office productivity apps like Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint et cetera. These machines have 4 GB of RAM and set to gigabytes of
storage, so it would probably be a good idea if you use an external hard drive
or memory stick to store media files like music and videos, however the
included office subscription does give you 1 TB of one drive cloud storage
space. These are capable machines and if you are looking for something on a
budget you can’t go wrong with ease. Good luck.

Hi, my wee notebook doesn't have MS Office on it, but it does have
LibreOffice which is a free suite of office tools I believe, although I never
use it.
Not sure how accessible it is with NVDA or JAWS.
I'll boot it up and see how much ram it has and the HD copacity is.

Could I just add to this that Bobby's notebook might struggle with Office
applications such as Word and Excel if it only has a small amount of RAM, so
something to consider if you want to run Office products that tend to be
very memory hungry. The difficulty is that the more RAM you go for, the
more expensive a notebook will get if you are keen to keep prices down.

writing classes.

It has windows 10 pre-installed on it, and I got NVDA and Jaws 2019
installed on it no problem.
It cost about £130.
You can prob look on the website for more specific details, or I can boot it

The keyboard is a bit small for my liking but I just plug a bigger wi-fi
keyboard into it and it works no prob.

transported.
I would prefer a qwerty keyboard rather than a braille product.
