Douglas, me too, sigh. I've just unbounced myself with Yahoo but I'm not sure whether things are in fact back to normal. Well, this is almost normal for Yahoo, and lets not forget it is why this group went to Freelists. Unfortunately, I think Freelist's rules state they are for techy types of lists, such as this one, unless I'm mistaken. Like the Yahoos met with in Gulliver's Travels, it seems Yahoo creates messes all over the place. From Ray I can be contacted off-list at: mailto:ray-48@xxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Douglas Harrison getting google groups mail Tony, Although I have not noticed exactly what you describe, I am becoming irritated by the fact that in Yahoo groups I am frequently getting messages delayed. For example I will often see the reply to a message but only get the original several hours later. Also, although it has not affected me so far, I hav read messages on one Yahoo group about a change introduced by Yahoo this week which is resulting in messages being received in a form which screen readers handle very badly. The solution to the latter seems to be to send a blank message to XXX-traditional@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (where XXX is the group name), reply to a confirmatory e-mail and in due course things are back to normal. Regarding bouncing of Yahoogroups mail, I was plagued by this when I subscribed from my UKonline account, but since I have been using @Gmail.com it does not seem to happen.
