I would be interested in corresponding off list since I had what seems like a
similar problem.

Hi Android users
I have the latest Not Nav, the GPS app on my Smart Prime 7 with
Marshmallo. I can not get street names to be announced. I have checked
that I have all the right options selected in Settings, all the default
settings seem to be already selected for streets to be spoken. I do get
the compass points announced, which I have set for every 30 seconds.
Any ideas about how I get street names announced, would be appreciated
