I've just downloaded that update this afternoon, and just a word of =
warning
it does take around 20 minutes or so to install. You're machine does =
give
the impression of hanging, but hang in there and all should be well. =
Once
installation of the NAV update is complete, you'll then be told to run =
live
update again for one additional update.

Cheers,

Douglas. Although I do not know the anser to the questions you pose, =
I've
had a look on Microsoft and it does seem that Norton have a current =
update
to deal with SP2 and I would guess that is what we have been =
downloading. FI
think there's an issue whereby the new improved XP firewall has a =
problem
whereby Norton could think its a virus a or a malitious program or
something.

At present I update NAV2004 manually. This morning I was offered a very
small file (around 60 kb) but after it was installed I was told to run =
Live
Update again. When I do this it lists Norton WMI update (1.3 mb or so). =
 I
used cancel to give time to review the situation before going ahead. Has
anyone else encountered this WMI update and do you know what it is? I =
just
wonder whether it has anything to do with Win XP SP2 which I have not =
yet
installed and don't propose to do so until I know whether it will cause
problems with my screen reader (Hal).
