There are some small buttons on the sides, Ray, which you could find
difficult. The 6600 has a gear lever type switch which you push with
either finger or thumb backwards and forwards, left and right, as you
need. You can also press down on it. The 6630 has a similar
arrangement but this is not so much a gear lever but a largish round
button which you press up, down, left or right, or in the middle of it
for "Select" and "Yes" options.

Ray, it is difficult for me to know which you'll find easier because of
your limitations. I suggest you go into a Car Phone Warehouse and try
to see both. It may be that you'll have difficulty in seeing the 6600
now as certainly Orange have none now in stock, but perhaps Car Phone
Warehouse have. I went in there the other day and found them very
helpful.

Hope this helps. Come back with any questions you want.

Thanks nuch Carol.

Guess what I want to know is how big the buttons are, and how large the
display is. The last one may be a bit difficult as I seem to recall
that neither of you can see. Anyway, buttons and layout would be a good
start. Ray

Ray, Mike has the 6600 and I have the 6630. What do you want to know?

They're very similar, the 6600 being a bit older and having less memory
(I think). Both work with TALKS and I understand with Mobile Speak too.
The 6630 is quicker. They're both about the same size though the 6600
goes in fairly straight lines while the 6630 curves at the bottom. As I
use all my fingers when I'm texting, this is particularly nice. The
6600 has infrared and Blue Tooth, whilst unfortunately the 6630 only has
Blue Tooth. Both enable you to use WAP and email if you want to run up
your bills that way. <SMILE>

Both have alarm clocks and good diaries, with notepads, to-do lists, and
lots of the visual stuff. They both have cameras, even if the lens is
at the back so that you can't listen to someone and see them (as in
video calling) at once.

Any further questions, please ask!

Anyone using the Nokia 6600 or 6630? If so, any comments on its
useability would be very welcome. Ray
