Hi Frank,

At 11:03 10/07/2004, Frank Haslam spake these words of wisdom
 >Hi, Listers!

 >I'm writing on behalf of a friend whose just bought a Nokia 6600 phone.

you mean you have friends? <Smile>. Am I to guess this is Maureen we are
talking about?

 >How can she put the @ (at) sign in her email address?

1. Press the star key. This brings up a list of symbols from which you
can select.

2. Press Down Arrow once to the At sign.

3. Press Key 1.

Done.

by default, at the beginning of every sentence, the first letter will
always be capitalised. Other than that, if you want to initial cap a word
in the middle of a sentence, press the hash key, and you will hear
"Dictionary Off, Upper Case". Do it again, and you will hear "Dictionary
Off, Lower Case". Finally, if you do it in the middle of a word, i.e., you
are not on the first letter of the word, you will hear, as the first option
when you press Hash, "Dictionary Off, All Capitals". This indicates that
everything you now type up to a space, will be fully capitalised.

Hope this helps.

All the best
 >Many thanks for your help.
