Hi,

Are you talking about usenet groups or mailing lists?  For example, groups such 
as alt.comp.blind-users, which is a usenet group.

You say that I should download a list of the groups and then search through 
this.  Do the groups not come from a variety of separate sources?  Is there 
such a thing as a single list of all the available groups?  If so, have you 
any idea of  the url please.
