Hi Mark, That was much more eloquently explained than I did it, but that's exactly what Dad did for me. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. If your digital control does not have a manual override switch then it is likely not to work. The talking timer switch is wired into the mains power supply to the control and the control is set to manual override. When the talking timer turns on then the power is fed through to the origional control which simply turns on as it is set to manual ovverride. This allows the boiler to come on for the predetermined time. This is a very simplistic installation and not all digital controls will work this way. hth, Mark Threadgold -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Tristram Llewellyn Sent: 06 July 2005 14:51 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: (No Date: Wed, 6 Jul 2005 13:42:26 +0100 I have heard about the issue of the radio interference, also not all heating timers wire up the same way so it is important to find out what the requirements are.
