This unit is simply a power relay operated by the talking timer. If your
digital control does not have a manual override switch then it is likely not
to work.

The talking timer switch is wired into the mains power supply to the control
and the control is set to manual override. When the talking timer turns on
then the power is fed through to the origional control which simply turns on
as it is set to manual ovverride. This allows the boiler to come on for the
predetermined time.

This is a very simplistic installation and not all digital controls will
work this way.

I have heard about the issue of the radio interference, also not all heating
timers wire up the same way so it is important to find out what the
requirements are.
