Hi,

Put headphones in and the letters will speak.

Also, you can go into Settings, Accessibility and check speak passwords.

All the best

Steve

I am using Jellybean. I have now got the speech on and have managed to
connect to wi fi, it is now asking for my gmail username and password. The
problem is every time I try to type it keeps saying star, how can I get it
to read out the letters as I type? So far, the gestures do not seem as
responsive as the iPad. But this is probably going to be a secondary device
so I can test some of our work apps.
