Many thanks,

I’m having a little play around with it, and will see if I can progress any
further.

Hi Sharon.

It’s not a feature I’ve used alas, so I really cant advise as I don't want/need
to buy one of the magazines on offer. If anyone else has used the news stand
feature, doubtless they’ll get in touch and answer your questions. Sorry I
cant help further with this.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Many thanks.

Are these magazines readable and how do I get one.

I’ve taken a look and found a magazine I’d like to try and it said free next to
it. It has now installed the magazine in my newsstand folder, with prices for
issues, or 3, 6 or 12 month subscriptions.

I would just like to get this month’s magazine to see if it is what I want and
obviously if it is readable.

I double tapped on the cost, then it asked me to buy it, which I tapped on
again, but nothing is happening.

Any pointers as I’m now a bit confused as to what to do.

Many thanks.

Hi Kevin/Sharon.

The Newspapers Plus app is indeed a nice little app, however it only allows
access to newspaper websites. The newsstand function allows one to subscribe
to magazines and newspapers compatible with the newsstand function on the
IPhone, so that issues are delivered as they become available as in the printed
issues found on news agents shelves. Subscription prices varied from
publication to publication, but you can expect to pay around £30 plus for an
annual subscription to any one magazine or newspaper.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi,

I searched for Daily Telegraph while in the Newsstand folder on my Ipod Touch
and was directed to the following app which cost £1.49
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/uk-newspapers-plus/id399515605?mt=8. It is
accessible and allows access to quite a few newspapers. The app’s website
(which can be accessed via the above link) has a useful FAQ explaining how to
navigate arround the app. I haven’t downloaded anything else as yet using
Newsstand. Hope this is of some help.

Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding the newsstand feature on my Iphone.

How accessible are the magazines downloaded to my Iphone using the newsstand
feature. Also, are there many UK magazines available, and are more added
regularly.

Many thanks.
