Hi Jeff,
That would be really good, but I understand NFB service is only
available for US residents; I’ve just double checked and the website
gives this impression too. Does anyone know otherwise?
Kind regards,
Amro

Thanks a lot, David, this is great. I write for a couple of newspapers on
geopolitics and political affairs, so yes, I require the full publications, and
for my sins I have to go through as much as possible of this massive pile of
articles and then some. I’m trying to consolidate all those news outlets in one
place - the eText service sounds a very good start. Off to investigate.
For anyone else reading, please chip in if you have any other suggestions.

The New York Times International Edition.
The times and Sunday Times
The Independent and Independent on Sunday The Guardian and the
Observer.
I also occasionally read the financial Times through this service.
I have not personally read the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Or Washington
Post through the service and I don't think they are available though I do read
The Economist through both the eText and the separate Audio CD General Magazine
service.
I think there are other financial based magazines available such as Investors
Chronicle Money Week etc.
I suspect that the most economic route for you would be to subscribe to the
RNIB for the eText service and then find other arrangements for Wall Street
Journal, Washington Post etc.
Personally I find that keeping up with the New York Times The Economist and
some of the UK content is pretty massive in itself anyway, requiring hours for
full reading. You could probably get away with dipping into the websites of
Wall ;; Street Journal etc.

Subject: [access-uk] News subscription service?
Hi all,
I’m looking for an accessible news subscription service, akin to Apple News
Plus, but to include the Washington Post, New York Times, Wall Street Journal,
Bloomberg, plus the UK’s Guardian, The Times, and The independent. Preferably
in an iOS app, but something on PC will do just as well. I’m not sure if such a
thing exists let alone being accessible.
Any thoughts please? Thanks.
Amro
