Hi Clive, These Olympus recorders, do they have such a feature that you can do tone indexing with on? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Clive Pallett" <clive.pallett@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Subject: [access-uk] New recorders from Olympus

Hello everyone,

For those of you who don't receive Access IT, Olympus has brought out seven
new recorders, four in the VN series and, perhaps of more interest to us,
three in the DS series. These are the DS-55 (1GB, £129.99), DS-65 (2GB,
£179.99) and the DS-75 (4GB, £229.99). All have improved voice guidance
with even spoken battery status.

Compared to the DS-30 to DS-50 these new recorders have four times the capacity at the same prices.

For more information, go to:

http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/2581_digital_recorder_ds-55_19926.htm

You will find links for the DS-65 and DS-75 on that page.

I'm sure there'll be a podcast on Blind Cool Tech demonstrating the improvements in these recorders.

Best wishes,

Clive Pallett
