Hi Graham, I think the N73 is definitely better than the N70. For a start, it has stereo speakers, and the 3D effects you can get from it are awesome. = But neither are as good as the N91 <Smile>. I know = people who have the Nokia 5500 who found the buttons odd at first but who got = used to them. I havea Nokia N73 which I find useable but over all it is no better I would say than the N70. It just has a slightly different set = of problems. I have to say that in my opinion all the reasonably priced nokia phones = fall well short in terms of keypad design so I would say you need to find a = way of getting into your local town and visiting a mobile phone shop and = just getting a hands on of some of these phones. This should be possible for most people I would think and there is no real substitute for doing = this. The N91 is fine but it is expensive as it is also a good music player = and generally not available subsidised as part of your contract. Glad someone else has a preference for real phones. Small phones tend cause the same feeling in me as minature yapping dogs do. I'm currently using a Nokia 6600 phone with Talks version 2. I = purchased it on the Re-Cycle list for about =A3100. Although I love the size of the phone - quite large, the buttons are very difficult for me to feel. = Also, the five additional buttons down the left and right sides are = particularly difficult to feel. I'm thinking of purchasing a new phone from Steve = with the Talks version 3, but as I cannot see or handle any of the phones he = has, It's difficult for me to assess if they would suit me. Can anyone = please recommend a phone for me. I'd like distinct buttons and the larger the phone the better. I hate these very small ones. I'm not bothered about internet access, though it would be nice if I could listen, via an ear = plug, to podcasts that I have saved on it's card. Any advise would be very welcome. Best wishes.
