[access-uk] New computer, no sound!

Hi all, our family have a new computer with Vista installed, but we can't
get any sound unless you use the headphones. Everything is plugged in that
needs to be and we take out the headphones to try to listen for any sound,
but all to no avail! Any ideas apreciated?
