Well, up to you.  If you don't like it then..................

I Don't see what the problem with getting you to register is myself, particularly when you want to download software, and as long as they don't insist on you receiving their marketing e-mail. It's there product and their website after all and they are entitled to do what they like with them, it's the same for everybody. Try S & S about your JAWS, they may be able to do it from their end or at least give FS a nudge.

It's irritating, though, when websites ask you to register more or less as soon as you're in the front door and trying to get some information about what they do. Sometimes I wonder what would happen if I was ever hit by a car and left dying in the middle of the road, I think I'd half expect to hear JAWS saying:

Welcome to the Emergency services registration page, you're just a few simple steps away from getting those lacerations treated, all we need to do is to collect a few simple details from you. Would you like to receive our newsletter? How about special offers from carefully selected medical providers? No? OK then, please type the word you see in the picture in the box below.
