Hi David,

Thanks for the info, I'll try again a couple of days and if no success I'll have to wait until I get back home.

Hi Pele and Jackie,

Thanks both for the details. When I pressed Hash to check for updates I was

eventually informed that my Stream is up to date and has version 4.72.  I
assume that is the latest version?

What improvements have been made with this update?

Hi Jackie

Sorry to be pedantic, but you will only receive the information about an
update to the victor reader stream if you have set it to check for
updates in the menu.

If you have this feature turned off:

1. Turn off Airplane mode and wait for the stream to say "Connected to
Wi-Fi"

2. Press 7 a number of times until you hear "Sofware Updates"

3. It then says "Automatic Check for Updates - Off"

4. Press 8. It will say "Check for Updates Now"

5. Press Hash. It will then do a check. If there is a new update it
will ask if you want to download it. Press Hash

6. Once the download is finished it will ask if you want to update. If
you do, you should plug the stream into the mains. It won't start
installing the update until you turn on the mains power.

I hope this does not increase the confusion.
