Hi Steve
Thanks for the update, i’m sorry for any confusion caused. Incidentally are
there any other standalone devices like this on the market? Here in the UK I
mean?

Hi Ibrahim,
Sight And Sound no longer sell the Buzz Clip. I don’t think anyone does now in
the UK.
All the best

Hi Andy
There are some instructional materials on the band website, you might want to
have a look at those to get an idea of how it works and how it integrates with
your phone. It is a very powerful watch, it can be customised to suit your
individual needs and has both an indoor and outdoor navigation mode. If you are
looking for something simpler, you could try the bus clip which sight and sound
also sell, although this isn’t smart in the same way as the band is. The band
also has a touchpad; if you have ever use the smart phone before then you will
be familiar with how his work however if you have not or don’t own a smart
phone, then maybe this would not be the product for you as you won’t be able to
get the most out of it. Hope this answers your questions.

Hi Ibraham and Steve.
Regarding this smart band device.
Thank you both for your advice.
I'm really thinking of a mobility aid that may stop me walking into lamp posts
and so on, and as far as accessing this device using my Iphone 6S, I'm not yet
sure as I really don't know other then the Radar device. Perhaps it will be of
great help and if I go for it I'd rather purchase from Steve than S and S, as
they get enough of my cash these days.
I really need to know first what it does and how it works before I make my mind
up.
Thanks again for your advice.
Andy Logue.

with these, I’ve got the new Aeropex model so don’t really need the air’s
however it’s something for nothing. Thanks anyway.

Hi Ibrahim,
Yes, they are still £240.00, though I believe the Aftershokz offer will have
ended by then.

Hi Steve
I tried to contact you before I went away to purchase one, but I couldn’t get
hold of you for some reason. Are you still selling these for £240? If so I will
be in touch on my return in September. Take care mate.

Hi Andy
The only device I can think of off the top of my head that matches that
description would be there Sunu Band, A combination of smartwatch and Sonar
detector which can either operate independently or be controlled with a smart
phone. This product is sold by sight and sound technology is, as well as
computer room services in the UK that can also be ordered directly from their
website at
www.sunu.io<https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sunu.io&data=02%7C01%7C%7Cbdf6e9d7c44f4b5da3dd08d70c1c0191%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C636991186729780047&sdata=rYW6fNi0SseZITMfzJTXKvlAKpUUCNZetgBwRUH6%2BmY%3D&reserved=0>.
At the moment if you order this product, you can receive a free pair of bone
conduction headphones from Aftershokz so I hope this was the information you
were looking for. Take care.

Hi all.
I was at the Mitchel Library in Glasgow today for a Freedom Scientific seminar
on JAWS 19 along with a very in-depth description of what I should expect when
I upgrade to the latest version. It was an excelant performance from Erick
and of course, the team from S and S, as you would expect.
During the performance Pauline, my wife was pointing out some of the other
devices from other companies.
There was a device with earphones and a wrist strap and although I was very
interested in having a go with it, we simply ran out of time and alas I missed
out on this.
Can a list member please identify the name of the product; The name and URL of
their website and of course how it works - I think it is Sonar? Also any idea
of the price of this gadget and lastly, some advice from someone who has
purchased it please.
I am now total and although I have a dog and a white cain, my orientation
within the house; pub or cafe is absolutely dreadful. I'm now getting
embarrased with all the people who are reaching out to me to assist me, for
example, when I'm going outside for a fag. I end up walking way off the
direction in which I believed I was walking so if this device is sonar, at
least it may prevent me walking into a person or bumping a table or chair.
Any information would be very welcome.
Very best wishes.
Andy Logue.
