Apologies for cross posting but I want as much advice as possible please.
I currently have an Epsom 3 in 1 printer and it's driving me crazy on several
1. The amount of ink cartridges we seem to go through and their cost.
2. The fact that many of the operations have to be carried out via a touch
screen which is totally inaccessible to me, thus having to rely on sighted
3. the almost constant updating of software I get pestered with which I
cannotinvoke without assistance.
4. I am unable to justify the running costs for the use we get out of the
machine, 90% is just straight forward black and white printing.
So for these reasons I want to go back to a simple black and white laser
printer. I still have a Brother 2030 printer which unfortunately has a scratch
on the ink drum and nobody is interested in a repair.
So, are Brother printers still a good bet or should I look at a Canon or other
make, taking into account my comments above about accessible use.
Sorry for the long rant but I need to get it right this time.
