Hannah you do not need a physical telephone. So long as a line exist within
the exchange then you will get a signal which comes down the line.

Hi George.

That isn't necessarily so *smile*.  A lot of routers these days are
configured for wireless set-up, you can set the wireless router up using a
manufacturer supplied key which is usually printed on the underside of the
unit.  All you need do therefore is plug the router in and follow the quick
start or equivalent guide, connect to the router using wireless and then you

can log in to change the settings if you want.  This is how I configured my
Be Broadband modem.
