Hi George

Yes they both have the same rj port. I have set up the
network, it's very easy when you get stuck in. I would
imagine a wireless ad hop network would be more tricky than
a cable network. One thing, when I connect the netbook to
the network, it automatically dials up the internet, how can
I stop this? Can I network almost any hardware such as
cd/dvd writers? I've networked my printers, that works ok.

Hi Adrien,

Note that I've changed the subject.

Do each of the computers have an RJ45 network port? If so,
you will need a network crossover cable to start with to
connect them both with.

However, if each PC has wireless already, you could go for a
dial up wireless system. See the following for a basic
explanation. (In case it wraps, the URL ends in dialup.htm)

Hi George

I want to network my two computers direly, what do I have to
do? I have never done it before. I don't have broadband so I
am going to have to share the internet connection for now.
