Perhaps if I gave you a rundown of what each utility does, you'd be in
a better position to decide which ones you want to keep and which ones
you can remove:
Samsung Battery Manager: This is a tool that allows you to set power
saving options and manage your battery by turning off various
components that you may not be using. This utility is also responsible
for speed stepping the processor where you are not performing processor
intensive tasks which will in turn prolong your battery life during
use.
Display Manager: This utility allows you to customise display settings
such as brightness, contrast and screen rotation. This utility is also
responsible for adjusting the screen resolution and defining the
hotkeys that you can use to control the above and other settings.
Magic Doctor: This is a system diagnostic tool. It will help you
identify components that may not be working by analysing your windows
configuration for missing or corrupted system files. It also can
compile a detailed system report which you can then send to Samsung
technical support who will request this if you raise a support issue
with them.
Magic Keyboard: This utility is responsible for managing all the
shortcut keys on the netbook. Without this tool, you won't be able to
make any adjustments to your computer using the defined shortcut keys
as detailed in the user manual.
EDS: This is a utility that optimises sound output. Enhanced Digital
Sound abbreviated to EDS has a number of preset sound modes for certain
types of entertainment listening, it also has a volume levelling
feature.
Recovery Solution: This tool is a staple component of your system and
is responsible for backing up and restoring your system to or from the
backup partition it created during system setup should it become
necessary. This tool can also create recovery disks by backing up the
recovery partition to a set of disks or an external hard drive.
Network Manager: This handy little tool allows you to define different
network profiles for different networks and easily switch between them.
For instance, if you have specific network configuration settings for
your office yet you connect to a wireless router at home, you can use
network manager to save profile information and use a set profile when
you connect to a wired or wireless network.
Update Plus: The name says it all. This utility will check for updates
to drivers and installed Samsung utilities to make sure that you are
running the latest versions.
If I've missed anything out from the above list, please let me know,
but I didn't want to give you my specific recommendations as I want you
to choose what's best for your specific needs.

Hi Chris.
The Samsung ones will work with windows 7 natively so I understand,
its just in case you want to enable the Samsung specific
functionality like the hotkeys or if you want the battery saving
functions etc that Samsung provide. All the hardware though like the
network both wired and wireless, sound, graphics, external ports,
camera, mouse and so on will work without any need for external
drivers to be installed.
