Hi Léonie.

Please could you subscribe me as well, I've just tried subscribing and although I have a message that says I'm subscribed, this clearly isn't the case since a test message was rejected.

All the best, Ibrahim.

I just checked the subscriber list for BCAB, and your address wasn't
listed. I've added you now though, so you should be able to post to the list
using bcab@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Hope that does the trick.

Léonie.

Well I don't know but I've tried to subscribe to BCAB and didn't get
anything but a message to say I've been subscribed, but nothing after that.
No worries though.

I've just realized I was responding to you on the access uk list. I
thought I was on my BCAB list.

Sure, I'll check that out and definitely visit stores over the summer.
Thanks!

Chris I have the NC10. It is excellent in terms of keyboard and
like yourself I have USB Logitech speakers which are excellent. I
would say in my case, I have no hearing loss but I do not find the
volume on the NC10 brill for listening to the radio. For Supernova
speech it is excellent and I can put it as high as I wish. With the
speakers you will be fine. Any chance of you going in to a store and
getting hands-on experience, Curry's, PC World will all have very
good selection. You are on the access-uk list too I know and a
competitent computer user so might I suggest you go back to the
archieves from late November time and December when we were all gone mad
discussing them. Hope this helps.

Subject: [access-uk] Netbooks

Hello all,
I'm researching the possibility of getting a netbook for those
times when my laptop is unavailable or I just want to be a bit more
mobile.
As I've never ever seen them before, which ones would be suitable
for someone with a hearing impairment and dexterity issues? I'm
perhaps asking too much, but I'm particularly asking which ones
have a fairly standard, laptop size keyboard, and has pretty bassy
sound? I do have some USB speakers, so guess I could compromize in
terms of sound, but I feel it's not worth the money if I can't use
all features out of a product. All feedback would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks!
